Language learning and acquisition has been an evolving topic, with new approaches being adapted to modern settings. In ensuring effective approaches are adopted, it is essential to consider teachers’ and students’ perspectives in regards to the considered approach. This case study research aims to investigate teachers’ and students’ perspectives on grammar teaching approaches in STREAM: Language and Study Skills Textbook and UTAS-Nizwa PSC Level 2 Grammar Booklet. The study will first review the deductive and inductive approaches to teaching grammar, the possibility of a blended approach, and the perceptions of teachers and students on the use of these approaches based on the previous research conducted in and outside Oman. It will then present the approach adapted to teach grammar in STREAM Textbook and UTAS-Nizwa PSC Level 2 Grammar Booklet, and provide examples of some activities used in both. It will then conclude by analyzing and discussing the perspectives of teachers and students on the approach adopted to teach grammar. Specifically, the data on the perspectives was collected on the effectiveness of RoznaHub (https://www.roznahub.com/) which is the STREAM Textbook Online platform that provides various educational services such as book review, presentation tool, assignments, and additional online actives and tests. Teachers and students were requested to interact with the platform, including students doing some additional grammar tasks on Rozna Assignments, after which their perspectives on the effectiveness of the approach used in RoznaHub in teaching and learning grammar was collected.
