Abstract

Since more and more people are buying electric cars (EVs) as a means to combat global warming, it is critical to assess their true impact on the environment. approach to determine the cumulative carbon dioxide emissions from electric vehicles (EVs) during their whole lifecycle, beginning with production and ending with disposal. This research delves into the emissions from electric vehicles, covering all aspect of their lifecycle, from raw material extraction to end-of-life treatment. factors to think about, such as the lifetime of the vehicle, the power supply for charging, and the manufacturing process of the batteries. Despite electric vehicles' frequently substantial reductions in carbon emissions compared to conventional internal combustion engine vehicles, the environmental effect of these vehicles is still impacted by regional electricity grids and the production and disposal methods of batteries. with recommendations for improving recycling practices, increasing the usage of renewable energy sources, and developing more efficient battery technology to lessen the negative effects of electric vehicles on the environment.
